ZotPad 1.1 has been released and should be available in the App Store in a few days. This is both a feature and stability release. The most important change is that ZotPad can now synchronize annotated PDFs back to Zotero. This means that you can easily set up an annotation workflow using a third party annotation App, such as GoodReader, iAnnotate, or Adobe Reader.
The major new features in this release include :
There are also many minor changes and bug fixes. The build has been beta tested with a team of about 30 people and is substantially more stable than the previous releases. (Read this if you are interested in joining as a beta tester.)
With the new release, there have been some changes in ZotPad support and this website. The app now includes a user guide, which can be also dowloaded here. Feature requests and frequently asked questions can now be found on UserVoice page. With these changes, the old online documentation and user forum have been discontinued. Any problems with ZotPad should be reported using the in-app "Contact support" feature and requests for features or other feedback should go through UserVoice.
There has been also a change in pricing to collect money for licensing iAnnotate technology to be used in the future versions of ZotPad. Read this article for more information.
