Looking for beta testers

Development of ZotPad 1.1 has proceeded well and the first feature complete version will be ready soon. This version will introduce three additional ways to download attachments to ZotPad from Zotero: WebDAV, Dropbox, and local file sharing; provides support for file uploads with Dropbox and local file sharing; and supports both iPhone (3GS and later), iPod Touch (3rd generation and later), and iPad. Because these new features increase the amount of possible configurations and use cases, there will be a limited public beta that will start soon and last until the software is ready for release.

The number of testers will be limited because Apple limits the number of testers to 100. If you want to participate in the beta, you can apply by doing the following two things:

The beta will be installed as a separate app and can be used alongside with the App Store version of ZotPad. All active beta testers will receive a promo code for a free license for ZotPad.

The first early beta of ZotPad is ready. The purpose of the beta is mainly to test the distribution system. The App installs on all iOS devices running iOS version 5.0 or later.

The first release adds the following features to ZotPad:

- User configurable sort buttons (6 on iPad, 3 on iPhone/iPod)
- Downloading files from DropBox using app folder.
- Cache status panel in the bottom of library and collection list
- Ability to receive files from other applications (These are not uploaded to Zotero yet)
- Support for iPhone & iPod
- New graphics for the new iPad
- Lots of bugs

This build is mainly for testing installing the app through the TestFlight service. There is no need to report bugs at this time.
